Hi Central Staff,

Vicky is picking up milk at Sam's right now and it will be here for snack today and we will have enough for tomorrow as well. I guess no delivery during breaks? Something to look into.

Preschool Field trip for January

Hi All,

I just booked 2 dates for Pump it Up in January the Eden Prairie location.

1/10/12 at 9:15 to 11:15, Lenox group

1/12/12 at 9:15 to 11:15, Central group

Print off your waviers for the parents to sign. Family Learning will not be attending.

Preschool Field trip rescheduled

The field trip to Stages will be on Thursday, February 2nd at 10AM. Vicky originally booked it on Martin Luther King day Oops! When Vicky returns we will discuss going somewhere else in January or having another field trip at the end of February. Please leave comments!

All off sites are responsible to pick up tomorrows snack. Snack is delivered at 6:30AM and Jim Beecher will bring it down to the Kids' Kitchen and place it in the cooler.

Susan Lindgren SAC will be at SL Dec 19-22. The second week of winter break Dec 27-29 they will come over to Central and be combined with rm 208.

All other sites will remain at their own schools.

Preschool Fieldtrip for Jan

I have booked Stages "Llama, llama red pajama" for Mon Jan 16 at 10 am. That was the only day they had a 10:00 show open. The cost is $7.50 per child we get 8 adults for free.

Beyond Diversity Class

The next Beyond Diversity Class is Jan 18 & 19

Beth, Katie, Karen Brasel, Becky, Marlys, Julie and Harli are supposed to attend.

Preschool Fieldtrips for Dec

I have booked the children's museum:

Wed Dec 7 for Lenox 9:15-11:15. The bus will leave at 8:45 and you will leave the museum at 11:30.

Thur Dec 8 for Central PS rooms. The bus will leave at 8:45 and you will leave the museum at 11:30.

The cost is $4.75 per child. Adults are free.

We can pay with the Discover Card. Vicky will go with the Central group and pay.

Lenox should connect with Tricia to borrow the card.

Friday Dec 2 Snack

We have one box of green apples and one box of red apples. You may take some of each and give your children a choice.

Fieldtrips for Winter Break

I have booked Playworks for Dec 20 and Dec 22

I have booked both the Maplegrove pool and the Shoreview pool for Dec 28. Elm Creek tubing does not need reservations we just show up.

Dec 21 PH will come to Central to swim and Central groups will go the PH to sled and skate

All SAC rooms need to email Vicky with your numbers so we can determine which rooms can fit on buses together

Central Snack

Please bring back whatever is left over to the Kids' Kitchen. Do not leave it in the cooler in the cafeteria or out of the cooler in the cafeteria. To make it easier on staff only take what is needed and not dragged the entire box with you. Please pass this on to all staff in your classrooms.

We are going to have an meeting with the Preschool staff Thur Nov 17 at 1:30 in rm 207 at Central. We would like one person from each room to bring a dish to share. We need at least on person from each room. If more of your staff can make it we encourage them to come too.

Preschool Fieldtrip Oct 20

Central rm 103 & 105 and Lenox Preschool rooms are going to Sever's corn maze. The bus will pick up Central at 9:15 and Lenox at 9:25. You will leave The corn maze at 12:00. The bus will drop off at Lenox at 12:30 and Central at 12:40.

Reminder to let Tricia know what you have left over each week so we don't WASTE food.

Central, I was a little disappointed that I found grapes left in the coolers all weekend not chilled. Also, found an open bag of veggie straws not sealed tight.

Don't save snack in your classroom. There is not a snack surprise day anymore so no need to do that. If I catch you still doing that there will be consequences.

Wednesday this week finish up your veggie and apple straws.

Tuesday will be a veggie day and Friday will be fruit day.

The grapes arrived this morning. They are in the kids' kitchen in the white coolers next to the kids' place freezer. There is also string cheese to have with your grapes.

Apple Orchard Fieldtrip

Oct 11th All of the preschool rooms are going to the Minnetonka Apple Orchard. One bus will pick up  rm 102, 103 & 105 at Central at 8:45 and be back at 1:00. The second bus will pick up from Lenox at 8:45 the pickup Family Learning from Central at 8:55.

New Snack

This week we are starting the new snack schedule. I will be ordering our veggies and fruits from Bix and the rest of the snack will come from Sam's Club. For this week only Lisa, Tricia and Vicky will make the veggie dip for you. After this week each class will do it's own. Tuesday we will have a mix of cauliflower carrots and broccoli. Thursday will be grapes.
