Extra towels

We are looking for some donations of old towels to have as extras for kids that forgot their towel on swim days. I currently have 2 in room 208. Please ask your families or if any staff has old towels you could bring in that would be wonderful. Mark them as kids place and put them in the closet in rm 208.

Kids' Place Staff Blog Test

Hi Everyone,
This email is from our Kids' Place Staff blog. If you received this that means you have successful subscribed to the blog so that any time I update it you will receive an email. You can also check the blog at any time by going to kidsplacestaff.blogspot.com. We will post all important info like bus schedules, info about the flea market, international day, carnival etc…

Please check with the other staff in your room to see if they received this email. If they did not have them go onto kidsplacestaff.blogspot.com and scroll to the bottom. There is a line that says "follow by email" they should put their email address in there. After that they should get emails every time we publish something to the blog.

In your email list it should say that the email is coming from "Kids' Place staff" or it might say it is from Vicky.

Mr. Fun Global Games & MN Zoo Re-do. Garden Lady times moved to Wednesday

Mr. Fun will be here with his show and all of his fun juggling toys on Monday from 10:00-11:30.
We will be going in 2 sections.
rm 209, 217 and 223 should go from 10:00-10:45

rm 112, 210 and 221 should go from 10:45-11:30

We are switching garden lady to Wednesday morning same times.

Roller Garden

You do not need to wear orange t-shirts to Roller Garden. Kids' Place will be the only ones there so there is no need for field trip t-shirts.

We have some new adult field trip T-shirts in room 208 if you need one.

Walkie Talkies

I have someone's walkie talkie. It was left in the Sensory room on the first day. If you are missing one let Vicky know.

Roller Garden Jun 20

It would be wonderful if you would have the bigger kids help put skates on the little kids.

Please go over the Roller Garden rules with your kids before you get there.

1. All skate direction is counter clock wise unless the DJ tells us to go the other way.

2. If they need to get off the floor they need to go around the circle and get off gradually, not cut straight across the floor. People will run into you if you are cutting across the floor.

3. If they fall down they should get up ASAP so that others do not run over them.

4. Do not drop wrappers and things on the floor. Stuff on the floor will cause wheels to stop and the individual wearing the wheels keeps going and falls down.

5. Do not sit on the wall. My brother sat on the wall, got pushed off and broke is front teeth.

6. The DJ takes song requests. He will not play songs with explicit lyrics i.e. he will not play "Talk Dirty to Me".

We will have a lot of staff there so we should be able to let some staff take their breaks during this time if they will not have time later in the day. There is a Caribou Coffee across the street. ( don't get hit by a car walking across the street)

Extra swim suits

The extra suits are in rm 208 in the brown cupboard on the bottom shelf in a target bag. All of them are marked with Kids Place somewhere on the suit. When the children are done using them please get them back immediately wash or rinse them very well and dry them and bring them back to to rm 208 ASAP so that they are ready for the next child.

Snack for Jun 10

I have ordered pineapple and mixed fruit for Tuesday. Take your pick which one you would like to serve.

I have ordered watermelon for Tuesday and bananas for Friday. They will all be delivered on Tuesday. You can use your bananas before Friday if you ant to.
