There will be 4 buses to Como Zoo. Leave Central at 9:30. Leave Como Zoo at 3:15
Bus #1 - Rm 112 and Rm 221
Bus #2 - Rm 210 and Rm 223
Bus #3 - Rm 209
Bus #4 - Rm 217
If it is too crowded on the first 2 buses there will be room to send a few of your kids or staff on the second 2 buses.
You will all view the animals
from 10:00-12:00.
Kindergarten will only being
using the Hodge Podge Park this year. Everyone else will be getting a three
hour wristband.
I will get the wristbands and
have them ready for you by 11:45. Please call or text me with final numbers when you load the bus.
KDGN staff will be in Hodge
Podge Park.
Rm 112, 210, 209 & 217
staff will monitor the three entrances to Como town.
We will have one staff from
each of the 1-5 grade rooms positioned at an assigned gate.
The staff at the gate must be
in position at 12:00.
Rm 210 & 112 will staff
#1 entrance & monitor the bathrooms by the front gate.
Rm 209 #2 entrance.
Rm 217 #3 entrance.
The other staff will
circulate around the park to monitor the children and go on rides with children
that are too short and need an adult to ride with them.
The children will be allowed
to go on their own with a partner to the rides they want. They need to stay with
their partner at all times.
All kids belong to all of the
staff. It is your responsibility to monitor the behavior of any child wearing a
KP t-shirt.
If you have some children
that do not want to ride the rides in Comotown and want to spend more time with
the animals you can send one of your staff with a group back to the zoo area after lunch.
Vendors at Comotown will
provide water for free if we have our own water bottles or cups.
The bathrooms are locate by the main entrance (#1)
There are also water fountains there, but some years they have been broken.
