Snack for the week of Aug 29

I have ordered 2 cases of green apples and 2 cases of red apples
5 cases of bananas
16 containers of yogurt - blueberry and strawberry
10 boxes of yogurt covered pretzels

They will arrive on Monday. There are enough apples, bananas, and yogurt for Lenox.

Schedule for the Week of Aug 22-26

Schedule next week: Monday-Thursday 7:00-4:30, Friday 8:00-12:00. (Make sure to take a 30 minute break in there somewhere, M-Th)

All summer/seasonal staff and subs who are available to work can have up to 40 hours to put summer away and get ready for fall programming. See Lisa/Vicky if you have a question about your hours.

Monday:  Moving/Cleaning Day – All hands on deck.  Breakfast+ coffee will

be ready for you at 7:00 in the cafeteria.  Work through that closing checklist until everything is done and Vicky/Lisa have officially checked you out.  Don’t let anyone leave until this has been completed.  We have shared spaces to clean out too, so if you finish up early, check in with the office for another place to help

Tuesday:  Start out at 7, but head to the high school by 7:45 for the District Back To School Workshop from 8:00-11:30.  Wear a KP shirt and find our group in the auditorium so we can sit together.  Food trucks will be on site after the workshop.  If you’re interested, bring some $$.  Have heard trucks will be GastroTruck and Ticki Tim’s.  Look them up online and check out the menu.  After all that finish up what you started at your site until 4:30.

Wednesday:  All day to set up in your classroom/on site 7:00-4:30

Thursday:  Wear your KP shirt and meet your team at 7:00 at Lenox in the cafeteria, we’ll have a little planning sheet for you to start working on.  At 7:30 breakfast will be offered for the CE back to school meeting. The program will start at 8:00 and end at 10:00.  We’ll take a quick break and then meet as a Kids Place staff from 10:15ish- 12:15ish.  Boxed lunches will provided on your way out for you to take with you.  Back to your classrooms/sites after that until 4:30

Aquila and Peter Hobart:  Meet the teacher and welcome back family events take place on Thurs. evening.  Aquila at 4:30 and PH at 5:00.  You should adjust your schedules – work a split – less time on another day – etc. to be sure you are there for at least the beginning of those events.  Be sure to wear your KP tees.  Maybe check in with the office early in the week to see how your group can contribute to the event.  

Friday:  Work 8:00-12:00 Meet the teacher at SL and PSI, be ready for that from 9:00-10:00.  K-5 groups: stay on site until you’ve been okayed to go by Vicky.

K-5 Groups: Vicky will visit your class/site on Thurs or Fri. to check your progress.  You’ll receive a checklist of tasks to complete in order to be sure you’re ready for DAY 1.

-REMINDER to register for fall if they haven’t already done so.
