Please pick a spot away from the skate counter. We do not want a bunch of kids sitting there putting skates on because they are in the way of kids trying to get skates.
1st - 5th graders amy bring money.
It would be wonderful if some of the 3-5th graders would help tie skates for the younger kids, especially the KDGNers.
Bring some cards or coloring sheets for kids that have decided they are done skating, so have they something to do.
Please go over the skate rules with your kids before you come to RG.
- The all skate direction is usually counter clockwise. The DJ sometimes tells us to go the other way if he feels the kids are going too fast he changes it up for awhile.
- If someone wants to get off the skate floor they should continue to go counter clockwise and slowly make their way to the side. Do not turn sideways and try to cut across all the traffic or turn around and go the opposite direction.
- If they fall down they should get up immediately, if they are injured they should try to get up and make their way to the side. If they lie on the skate floor people will trip over them and they will sustain more injuries.
- The eating area on the east end of the rink is closed. No one should be hanging out in that area.
- No sitting on the walls & do not open the doors on the rink.
- They should NOT bring any food or beverages on the skate floor. And please, please, please do NOT drop any candy wrappers on the skate floor. These jam up wheels and people fall down and get hurt.
