Friday Snack

We are trying out the yogurt to see if the kids like it so I didn't get a lot of containers so just give it to the kids that want to try it and let me know if I should order it in the future.


Here is the breakdown for how much yogurt each room gets:

AQ - one 5lb container
PH - one 5lb container
SL - one 5lb container
LX - already has a container from Wed
Rm 102 - one 5lb container
Rm 103 & 105 share - one 5lb container
Rm 104 - one 5lb container
Rm 108 - one 5lb container
Rm 208 - one 5lb container
Rm 209 - two 5lb containers

Friday Sept 28 Snack

I have ordered bananas and yogurt for snack on Friday. Each child can have a banana and a small cup of yogurt. You should use the 5 oz dixie cups for the yogurt. We have plenty of cups and spoons in the kids kitchen in the cupboard between the sinks down below. There are also more apples in the milk cooler in the cafeteria. Feel free to offer those also.

Swim time at Central for offsites from 1 to 2:30. Let me know ASAP if you plan to attend Haunted Hallway & Swim.

Snack Tues. Sept 18

I have ordered 4 cases of apples for Tuesday. 2 cases of green , 1 red, and 1 golden delicious. There is also a box of sliced apples. That one is for the toddlers.

School-age Attendance

School-age Staff - We have a lot more kids than we expected. We will be hiring more staff to help you out but we need accurate numbers. Please bring a copy of your attendance to the meeting tomorrow or email it to your site supervisor by tomorrow morning. We also need numbers for Sept 28 & oct 17 & 18.

Tuesday Sept 11 Snack

I have ordered 4 cases of Bananas for Tuesday. That is probably way more than we need but I didn't want to run short so we may have extras that you can use later in the week.

SAC - meeting will be at 9:30 in rm 208. We would like all School-age  staff to attend if possible.
please bring numbers for the early, MEA and late start numbers. Also bring your ideas for fieldtrips Oct 18, 19 and Nov 21.
One of the days Jim will be hosting the Haunted Hallway again and we will fit you in for a swim time at the Central pool. Tricia has already booked Rollergarden for Nov 2.
Bring a list of any concerns/issues you are having.

ECE - will meet at 1:30 in rm 208. 1 Rep from each room. Please let your site supervisor know if you will need a sub.

Central Cooler Cleaning

Our rotation for cleaning the milk cooler will begin again next week. I will tape the sheet to the cooler again. after you clean it please write on the sheet who cleaned it and the date. You should put a clean piece of card board on the bottom of the cooler each time to catch any of the leaky milk. That will make it easier to clean. There is generally card board by the recycling bin in the copy room.

Rm 103 it is your turn to clean the cooler the week of Sep 10. Thanks!

Free Family Event this Saturday

Pass this info on to your parents. Target is having it's annual book festival. Children get to meet the authors and illustrators. They have bands and bounce houses all for free.

Hello all:

Heather, Zoe, and I are all looking forward to seeing you on Friday, September 14th at our house anytime after 5:30pm for a Kids' Place Staff Get-Together.  

We'll provide dinner, there will be plenty for kids to do so bring them along, and there will also be sophisticated adult beverages, snacks, and a variety of activities for adults.  No hurry to go home, Zoe sleeps when people are over...

So drop on by after work on Friday the 14th and relax with us!

Snack Tuesday Sep 4

There are leftover carrots and apples in the cafeteria cooler. If you need ranch dressing there are several bottles in the Kids' Kitchen. If we run out of carrots and apples I have laid out yogurt covered raisins and pretzels on the counter in the Kids' Kitchen.
