DHS certification visit schedule

Rodney Francios will be coming to do our annual DHS visit. The schedule is as follows. Thursday, September 22 · 1:30- Central Kids' Place · 2:15- Peter Hobart Elementary Friday, September 23 · 2:15 - Aquila Elementary · 3:00 - Park Spanish Immersion · 3:45 - Susan Lindgren Elementary It is nothing big. He will be meeting with the site leads. Here is what will be happening at your site: When I am at the sites, I will ask the site director to give me a tour of the spaces that the program uses. I will also review the following: · Children's allergy information, medication permission/dosage forms, and immunization records · Medication storage and labeling · Personnel records · New staff persons Orientation Training dates (new=staff hired since programs last review on 10/13/2021) Existing staff persons Yearly In-Service Training dates · Evacuation and shelter in place drill logs · Emergency Preparedness Plan · Risk Reduction Plan · Health and safety policies What all staff need to do is: Review the Emergency Preparedness plan. Review and sign off that you have reviewed the Health and Safety policy and procedures. All staff must review and intial the Risk reduction plan every month. Know which students have allergies and where to find the information Know that you all are a mandatory reporters and that you need to report suspected abuse. You can inform your supervisors that you are making a report but you must make a report if you suspect abuse. The phone number for child protective services is (651)431-6600.
